Meet The Staff

Dr. James R. Williams, P.A.

Dr. Williams was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MN. He graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Duluth in biology and chemistry. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry; graduating in 1984. After two years of practice in Roseau, Dr. Williams moved to this area in 1986 and began practicing full time in Sauk Centre in 1992.

Dr. Williams is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, the LD Pankey Alumni, and the Pankey Affiliated Learning Group. His journey to provide the finest dental care available has included many hours of advanced continuing education. This includes highly respected courses by: Dr. Peter Dawson, the LD Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Nobel Biocare Implant Mentor program, Pikos and Salama Partners in Synergy, Dr. Gordon Christensen, Implant Pathway, 3D Dentists curriculum, and much more. 

Dr. Williams has been married to his wife, Martha, since 1984. They have enjoyed raising two sons and a daughter together. The entire family participates in a variety of outdoor and athletic activities; the children’s primary focus athletically has been on hockey.  Even though the children have now grown to adulthood, the family still enjoys getting together as often as they can.

Missy

Dental Hygienist

Missy was born and raised in Melrose, Mn. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2009 where she obtained a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been working as a Hygienist for 7 years and has been with Dr. Williams' team since 2015. She was drawn to this practice by the reputation it has at providing compassionate and individualized dental care. She was also interested in continuing her education in implant dentistry. Missy is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry and loves to build one-on-one relationships with her patients.

Missy and her husband have two daughters and reside in Elrosa. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and being active with her family. 

Rachel

Dental Assistant

Rachel is a registered dental assistant. She attended MN State Community and Technical College in Moorhead for dental assisting in 2007-2008. In the fall of 2008, Rachel started working for Dr. Williams. Over the years, she has had the opportunities to attend the Dawson Academy, assist Dr. Williams at Implant Pathways in Arizona, and have advanced training in oral sedation. She loves the variety of procedures Dr. Williams provides their patients. Rachel is married with 3 children.  

Abby

Office Coordinator

Abby was born and raised in Alexandria where she currently lives with her husband, Jake. They met at Bemidji State University where both of them were playing college hockey. They just welcomed their second baby girl in January. Abby moved back to Alexandria the summer of 2016 and started working for Dr. Williams that June. She has loved the opportunity to learn so much about the dental industry and takes a lot of pride in working for Dr. Williams. She enjoys getting to know all of the wonderful patients and seeing people's smile transformations. 

Rosita

Front Desk

Rosita was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC and moved to Minnesota in 1999. She resides in Sauk Centre with her husband and three daughters. She joined Dr. Williams' team in 2017. Rosita enjoys the fast paced work environment of dentistry and building relationships with all the great patients. 

Mindee

Hygienist

Mindee grew up in Alexandria, MN. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2005 where she earned her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene. She loves getting to know her patients and strives to make their appointments a comfortable and positive experience. Mindee is passionate about educating her patients and making sure you have a strong foundation to maintain a brilliant, long lasting smile. In her spare time, Mindee enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring the outdoors, and spending summer relaxing at the lake with family and friends.
